Ieri sera mi sono dedicata alla creazione di questa coppia di coniglietti per un’amica. Rappresentano due sposini innamorati come il primo giorno che si sono incontrati proprio come lei e suo marito.

Mi ha detto cosa voleva, il colore che aveva scelto e dove andranno a sedersi. Così ho iniziato a lavorarci su lunedì sera mentre attendevo che Ele tornasse da Linz.

La cosa che più mi piace dell’essere creativa è il vedere come le idee e i progetti si trasformano man mano che li realizzi. Sono partita da una richiesta come un cuore e una stella in mano ai coniglietti ma poi nella mia testa ques’immagine si è elaborata e ho pensato che se tengono in mano qualcosa non possono abbracciarsi, amarsi.

Quando ho fatto la foto per mostrarglieli ho proposto di far tenere in mano loro un cuore in modo da poter essere uniti poi in un abbraccio.

Io li trovo molto teneri e dolci e anche a Serena sono piaciuti. Stasera realizzo il cuore che sarà una sorta di port bonheur rigorosamente in stoffa rossa.

E dire che 6 anni fa neanche sapevo infilare il cotone nell’ago!!

Yesterday I dedicated my evening to create this couple of bunnies for my friend. They are 2 married bunnies in love like their first day they met. Just like her and her husband.

She told me what she wanted, colours and place where they will be placed. So I started to work on this project Monday evening while I was waiting Ele coming back from Linz.

The thing I really like on being creative is seeing how ideas could change and transform while you work on your project. In the beginning male bunny should hug a star and female bunny should hug an heart but then in my head I thought that if they keep something on hand they are not able to hug, love.

When I took pics to show to Serena I suggested to create only 1 heart they can keep on hand and leave them in an eternal hug.

I find them very sweet and also Serena liked them.

I will finish this evening realizing a big red heart, a sort of port Bonheur of course in red fabric.

I am amazed sometimes if I think that 6 years ago I wasn’t able even to put yarn on needle!

Se ripenso ai miei primi lavori così imperfetti e bruttini mi rendo conto che ho percorso tanta strada. Per questo tipo di cose non serve fare corsi particolari. Io ho imparato da sola. Provando e riprovando. Guardando video su youtube, seguendo i suggerimenti che mi sono arrivati da chi era più esperto.

E non vi serve neanche una macchina da cucire stratosferica. Mi rendo conto che siamo bombardati da ogni sorta di prodotto super specializzato nel creare cose fantasmagoriche.

Puoi comprare la migliore macchina da cucire del mondo, la migliore attrezzatura ma se non ci metti cuore e non ci provi i progetti non prendono corpo.

Copiare e seguire le istruzioni di un pattern è semplice. Dargli vita, quel dettaglio in più che lo rende unico e diverso dagli altri è un’altra faccenda.

Partire da zero e disegnare un’idea è qualcosa che da una soddisfazione unica. Ma siamo sempre lì: bisogna metterci amore.

If I think to my first project so imperfect and ugly I see how many work i did to be better.

To learn to sew it’s not necessary do special trainings. I just learnt by myself. Just tried n tried n tried again.

I watched video on you tube and asked to who was expert.

And you don’t need any super best high tech sew machine or best tools if you don’t put love on what you are doing.

Copy and follow a pattern and his instructions it’s really simple and easy. Give it life, adding a detail to transform it in something unique… well this is the difference.

Start from nothing and draw your idea gives you lot of satisfaction! But again: you have to put love in what you are doing.

Provate sempre a fare le cose. Siate coraggiose e lasciatevi guidare dal vostro estro e metteteci tanto amore.

Vedrete che le cose nelle vostre mani si trasformano e saranno stupende perchè le avrete realizzate voi ma soprattitto saranno uniche.

Spesso vedo cose realizzate in serie tutte uguali. Io creo su misura. Parto da un’idea che mi viene proposta da chi mi richiede un lavoro. Come nel caso di questi coniglietti. Serena voleva una coppia: una femminuccia e un maschietto. E da questo sono partita. Non ho ancora la foto finale ma mi piacerebbe mostrarvela quando giungeranno nella loro destinazione.

Curo ogni dettaglio, spesso cucio a mano, ricamo o aggiungo qualcosa per impreziosire il mio lavoro. Posso cucire 20 conigli se volete ma non saranno mai mai mai uguali uno con l’altro perchè ad ogni coniglietto che creo metto amore e passion e ognuno di loro ha il compito di rendere felice qualcuno.

Be brave and try to do new things, new challenges and put on it love!

I saw lot of times things made in series just to sold. I make things on your ideas. I start with your idea and just create. Like these Bunnies where my friend told me colors and her idea.

I take care of any details, often I hand sew, I embroider I make something unique and precious. I can sew 20 bunnies but believe me, they will be different. You will never see the same bunny as I will add to every doll something to be unique.

All my creations are made with love, care and passion and they are realized only for you. And every item has the mission to make happy someone
